LEMAU

Usually lemau is used to describe food that has gone lembik or that has been exposed to air long  enough that it is not crunchy anymore and not delicious anymore.

While the world is gradually developing in many aspects, there had been changes in the language that people used, a word that had been used to describe one thing are being used to describe other things to. Lately, i've discovered that people nowadays also use lemau to describe people.

A conversation that goes like " hey man! you look lemau today.." could mean "hey man! you look down today..". Lemau when referred to human could mean that the person is looking terrible, miserable and depressed. or at least that's what i understand.

Another way to look at it is that when people is lemau then it means that they have gas in their body or masuk angin because another way to describe a lemau food is to say that the food is masuk angin.
So, if masuk angin is the case then there are ways to control and cure it.

I've looked up the internet to see cara merawat angin dalam badan and these are some useful tips that i found:
1) banyakkan minum air kosong
2) makan perlahan-lahan dan kunyah lebih
3) elekkan makan gula-gula keras dan menguyah gula-gula getah.
4) minum air halia dan air panas.

As to end my writings for today, i would like to remind us all to take care of our health. Our body is a gift from our Creator, appreciating a gift means to take good care of it and to use it well.
As our prophet once said :

“Rebutlah lima perkara sebelum datangnya lima perkara. Masa sihat sebelum sakit. Masa kaya sebelum datangnya masa sempit (miskin). Masa lapang sebelum tiba masa sibuk. Masa mudamu sebelum datang masa tua dan masa hidup sebelum tiba masa mati.” (Riwayat al-Hakim dan al-Baihaqi).
