Penguins

It is known that penguins are  cute, adorable creatures living in cold weather. Mostly found in the southern hemisphere. 

Here are some facts about penguins :

1. They can spend 75% of their lives in the water, they do their hunting in water as they eat mostly fish and they can detect their prey within 60 feet of the surface of water.
2. penguin can only lay up to 2 eggs, some species only lay one egg.
3. Penguin's eyes work just as well underwater then they do on land.
4. Penguins can march up to hundreds of kilometers just to reach their breeding sites.
5. Sadly, penguins are endangered species.

These are just 5 facts about penguins, there are more but one of the things that make me want to write about penguins is that the fact that penguins go against the conventional male-female parenting role. where unlike most species, male penguins stays in the nest and look after their eggs while the female penguins goes out to search for food.
